A Little Something About Blooming...

A little something about blooming: it takes time and patience and consistency.

Consistent nurturing. Consistent focus. Consistent nourishment.

Mom life can be erratic and inconsistent and all the things we believe disqualify us.

But perhaps all it takes is narrowing in on one thing you CAN do.

  • Write 300-500 words when they're napping or at bedtime.

  • Watch a YouTube lecture on writing with headphones during their screen time.

  • Ask your spouse for an hour each day to focus on your writing alone.

Listen, I watched a LOT of Netflix when my kids were little. And I'm not trying to call you out or anything... But maybe instead of curling up in bed to binge three or four episodes of someone else's creation, we can use that time to work on our own dreams.

{Just be sure not to neglect your time with the Lord. 🌹 It's very easy to idolize ambition.}

I believe in you!
